About this speaker
As President and CEO of KGEFCU, Monica Belz shapes a dynamic island vision for economic growth grounded in sustainability and social entrepreneurship. Since the COVID-19 Pandemic, she led the credit union to obtain a CDFI Designation with the U.S. Dept of Treasury, one of only four in the state of Hawaii, and has deployed over $17 million dollars of aid into the community.
Her 20 years of experience in social impact community development across 30 countries complements a diverse portfolio of work that includes disaster relief and EMT Fire & Rescue. Monica is fluent in Russian and holds a Global MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
